Well from first glance you would think that he is mysterious and secretive. Then you see his tattoos and think of that tough guy. There is more to him then just his appearance. Donnie is a focus person and is looking forward to a change in life and his career.
Donnie was born in North Carolina, and his family moved to Norfolk Virginia when he was 12 years old. Some of the thing that he likes to do with his free time is play pool and watch football. He also like to cook and tries to created new types of meals.
Also he is very family oriented that is one of the most important things in his life. He enjoys spending time with his with his nice, and sister. The most influential person in his life is his mother. She showed him that hard work and determination is the key to success. Always to believe in yourself and do not like anyone tell you that you can not achieved greatness.
Donnie is a huge fan of the Denver Broncos football team. He hopes that his team makes it to the playoff this year. Also he is a golf fan too. His all time favorite golf player is John Daly. He wishes to play golf with him one day. His favorite show that he watches on television now is King of Queens.
` The most import thing that I want out of life is to be happy and have the ability to enjoy my success. Life is too short to be unhappy. So if you could not be happy if life then what is the reason for living; that is way I try to live to the fullest and enjoy.

With a wife of 17 years he expects to be happy about his life. He loves to eat gumbo, hogshead cheese, boodan, chicken, and seafood. He says you haven’t had real gumbo till you have gumbo from Louisiana. Reggie was born in Louisiana, and was raised in Houston and Miami, but has been living in Virginia for 20 years. The 20 years of his life living in Virginia he served in the navy as a welder. He worked on every ship and submarine on the east coast. He also worked on nuclear system, which was very dangerous. Reggie has a soft heart to be a strong man. He has two fears in his life, being falsely accused and not being a good father. His fears are so deep that he is willing to do anything to keep them from coming true. Being a very loving father, he loves spending time with his kids. During his spare time he enjoys a day of paint ball shooting with his kids. Although Reggie may seem to be hardcore he does not believe in tattoos and above all enjoys listing to jazz and watching horror and thriller movies. As I mentioned above that Reggie has been happily married for 17 years I never explained how they met. The story of how he got married is quite funny. His wife tricked him by saying we need to get to know each other better because we are going to get married and one day has some kids. Reggie is thinking in the back of his mind that this lady is crazy and we are never going to get married and have kids, but Reggie was tricked as he went to pay a parking ticket and it turned out to be a marriage license. So here they are today happily married with three lovely kids later. You may read this and say Reggie Thompson is a very happy man and lives a wonderful life. He does, but just like me deep down inside he suffers from pain, pain from scars and wounds that he is still trying to get over and recovering his life. Through this process he says the things that help him get through life were first and foremost God. His wife and his best friend also helped him out a lot too. Last but not least his kids made life enjoyable. This is a very ambitious man, he is so powerful in so many ways that it is hard to believe all the things he posses inside. It takes a real man to conquer so many aspects of life, and to go through so many things and to still stand strong to provide for his wife and kids without a single complaint. He is strong, he is ambitious, and he is Reggie Thompson.
D. Stancil is an outstanding guy who shows a great deal of passion for family as well as others. To be happy and live life to the fullest is what he wants in life rather then fall deep into his fear of having nothing or doing nothing in life, which he found to be more afraid of thin death itself. Learning to not be afraid of feeling whether it be feelings for another or feelings of self worth. Therefore life is very challenging for him day after day. Very spiritual is he, for it is the power of prayer and God that keeps him going, that gives him the will to live. Where did this lovely gentleman grow up? Most of his life he was raised in the warm state of Georgia, but do to his father being a military man most of his childhood was also spent moving to different places and different homes. Even though as a child growing up he wanted to be a lawyer, his career path changed. D. is not enrolled in ECPI College of Technology, with Bio-Med being his major. He enjoys all sorts of music and enjoys watching the news. His favorite movie is a brilliant movie were death comes for a mans life but falls in love with the mans daughter as she has also fallen in love with him, this movie is, Meet Joe Black. He does have a little girl named Princess Maleyn Stancil. His daughter makes him smile and laugh, but she is not the only one, he tends to laugh or smile if he sees anyone else doing the same. He reads books and spends time with his daughter in his free time. To lie to him is something you really don’t want to do, nothing makes him madder then when he has someone lying to him or he can see some one telling a lie to another. D. would like to be remembered as a successful person who achieved his goals in life, also for being a positive person who always cared and shared with others. I truly believe that he will be remembered as the person he wants to be remembered for, he already shows a lot of the qualities that he wanted to be remembered for.
Just talking and asking questions can really help u get a better understanding of a person’s life. My understanding of Kris is far more than I expected, which lead me to believe that she is honestly outstanding. I learned that Kris is originally a Jamaican native from the island of Kingston. The things that ticks off Kris is when people lie, which is normal in most cases. Kris is the type of lady who cares about her career and is decayed to become a member of the CIA soe thing in life that challenge her is English. One of Kris’s influence is her mother, which is very special. The thing that inspires her is the ````````````````````````````````````````````` Navy, this keeps her in mind of how hard she has to work in order to make it out for a better life. Some of the things she enjoys doing with free time is writing poetry and going to clubs. Writing poems to Kris is another way she escapes the harsh world today, which I find is very useful today. Not only that, this shows that she has a very special gift and love for writing. The thing that I found very funny about Kris is that she is afraid of the dark but it’s alright Because , at one point or another we all have our fears. Coming from a long line of nice styles, she has one Of the most known stores worldwide as one of her favorites, which just happens to be “Jizzy Jazz”. “jazzy Jazz” is a store where you have hundreds of styles to choose from. I learned that Kris has a number Of things she like such as; food (Jamaican), music (reggae), tv show (court tv), and house (2 story- circular Shape). After sitting down talking to Kris for a short period of time bought me to think that she is a kind, loving, gifted, and a very friendly person who is determine to make it on her own. I feel that Kris will make one hell of a poet and CIA agent someday. With this being said, I wish Kris all luck and best wishes throughout her life.
Mel- The Big Apple Mel is a 20 year old gentleman from Long Island, New York. He has a big family of 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. His mother passed away in 2004, from then on, he has been living with his dad. Two months ago, Mel decided that it was time for a change. He moved to the lovely state that many people have been dieing to go to, Virginia. He is now staying with his cousin, while working full time at Animal Planet. He works as a customer service representative, to help keep him busy. Mel likes to listen to any type of music, as long as it sounds good to him. He inspires to produce beats and writes lyrics. He also enjoys working on computers. Unlike others, Mel is a straight up type of guy. It’s hard for him to be fake around others. One of his pet peeves is when a person knows the answer to a question, but insists on asking the question anyways. Olive Garden is a very nice spot to have dinner. Therefore, its one of his favorite spot to eat t at. At least 3 times a month. Mel would like to be remembered as a very cool person, laid back, real down to earth and as a mellow type of guy. It’s hard to find a person that is real from day one, and stays the same throughout the time you know them. Mel has a very productive mind, which is going to take him very far in the near future. It’s hard to meet a guy like Mel. Just like how its hard for someone to just walk up to you and give u a million dollars in cash. Then tells you to do whatever you want to do with it. A lot of people don’t know where they see themselves at in the next 5 years. Mel see himself as a producer, or as a computer technician. Family is a big inspiration to Mel. He has learned a lot from them. Especially from his younger brothers. Mel has 3 older brothers and 1 younger brother, 1older sister and 2 younger sisters. Mel has not one, but two, favorite artist. There are Jay Z and Biggy. Jay Z and Biggy are two of the biggest rap artist to ever make it in the rap world. As you can tell, Mel has very good taste in music for a guy. It gets home sick for Mel, so he is looking forward to going back to New York to see his brothers, sisters, and his dad. “The Big Apple is where it all is, but a change had to be made.” Mel said. With all that being said, how can anyone not like a guy like Mel? He is fun to be around. He knows a lot, and he enjoys food. Everyone enjoys eating, am sure you do. Bella of Jessica Perin My interview was on a young lady by the name of Jessica Perin in my introduction of writing class. Her home town is located in Ohio Montezuma, man that sound far but she hear now. I also found out from this short term interview we had she a very compassionate woman. That’s why name my project bella of Jessica in French bella means “beauty”. She started off telling me what drives her to live and she quickly told me it was her faith so right then I knew it was G.O.D the source of love empowered her living day by day, that’s real cool cause I feel the same way. She also was telling me how she likes to shop you know keeping it looking good. What I really admire about her was she wasn’t so much self-center in her life’ she loves being around people also voice a change in mentor teenagers. She also posted a website called Healing the world, now that’s what I’m talking about. Also she’s an animal lover involved with P.E.T.A so I guest it’s no need of me asking her about Michal Vick ha! Ha! Jessica is really busy. But if you really won’t to make her hair jump out of her skin just dress up as spider-man or get a extreme dread movie, because she fears spider and loves the horror film. Great news she’s on her way to make that Cinderella walk every woman’s dream getting married and truly she has my blessing. So I’ve come to the end of my interview bella of Jessica.
As I started to interview Lacara Baynes AKA LB, a thought ran though my mind: oh no, here is another bored interview. But to my surprise, this young woman was very captivating. I discovered that behind the smile was a child still wanting to expects life that was missed. She learned how to rely on herself to motivate and give the drive that she needed to succeed in life. Never let life hold her back or used it as an excuse not to succeed. LB gives her life succeeds to prayer and never being to shy to to try new things. Grow up in New Jersey, she now resided in Virginia for the last three years. Basketball became one of her favorite outlets. She was a started as a point guard at ODU until she received an injury which caused her basketball career to abrupt end. Even though she was upset by the incident she kept her drive and motivation going. As she was talking, I became aware of how everything around her was so neat. I had to ask how does she feel about people how are unorganized, with a smile she reply by saying that they are not at the top of her Christmas list. LB most important thing to her is family and the close nest it brings. Out of all of the things we discussed there is one thing that we both sure was we both enjoy life and family.
Looking forward to the prospect of learning about the industry. I have always been interested in the field of technology and the affect that it has had on the quality of everyday life. looking forward to the future.

L.B. The Real Deal

Burton, Derrick
For a topic for my first day blog, I had to write a descriptive portrait of a
classmate. I met Derrick Burton, who seemed to be easy going and laid-back. He grew
up
in a small town called Darrington, located in South Carolina. I asked Derrick questions
about himself, and one of the things I found interesting was how he wanted to influence the world. He said he wants to invent something better for mankind. I asked, “Like what?” He said, “Well I was thinking about a type of clothing with built-in G.P.S., for children; so the amount of missing children would decrease. Derrick also spoke about equality and treating people fairly. I agreed with him, because in a time like this, some of us may think that racism is over. But there are still those who have different opinions about it. Some don’t care at all about it.
Derrick also mentioned one of his pet peeves he has is that he can’t take people who ask questions repeatedly, and people who talk down to others. I asked him who what inspires him, he said his mother. He described his mother as a strong woman, and having to work two jobs. It showed Derrick that hard work pays off. Finally, I asked Derrick what he wants from life, and it may seem like a cliché, Derrick wants what all of us want in life, happiness.
